Aswan [as-wahn] is inspired by the historical and awe-inspiring city of Aswan, Egypt. In Aswan you will find Abu Simbel, incredible massive rock temples that were built by Ramesses II  -  the Great Temple, dedicated to himself, and the Small Temple, dedicated to his chief wife Queen Nefertari. Other incredible historical monuments are sprinkled throughout Aswan, from the Temple of Philae, Temple of Kom Ombo, Temple of Isis, and even mausoleums from the Fatamid Era.
